Booking

100% of the booking fee is required to book the PHOTOGRAPHER. The following Payment Methods are accepted: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Cash, Gift Certificates. E-transfers are acceptable for a commercial photoshoot.

- Your best option is to book through our zealandphoto.ca website. Our online calendar is always up to date and shows the latest availability and rates. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.

- Your booking begins the time you book for, no earlier and ends the time it is booked, no later.

Many details on our website answer questions about rates, equipment, décor, furniture, props, wardrobe, and more. Please take the time to go through all pages before contacting us.

Cancellation:

- PHOTOGRAPHER offers credit for cancelled bookings as we do not issue refunds. We will reschedule your booking date based on our availability.

- If PHOTOGRAPHER cancels the booking for any reason beyond our control, we will offer a 100% refund.



Photographic Materials and Copyright:

All photographic materials shall be the exclusive property of the Studio. The Studio shall own the copyright in all images created and may use the work for samples, contests, exhibition, advertising, and self-promotion and for anything that does not contrary to the law of copyrights.



Client's Usage:

The client is obtaining prints or files with images for personal use only and shall not sell said prints or authorize any reproductions thereof by parties other than the Studio. If the client is obtaining a print for reproduction, Studio allows the client to reproduce the image only under Special Usage Requirements. In such event, the client shall request that a copyright and credit notice for the Studio be placed adjacent to the photograph on publication but shall have no liability if the publication refuses or omits to do so.



Social Media:

This clause applies to all social media. When published online, it is required that a citation of the photographer be made. The client agrees that they will alter any photographs placed in public on the internet under no circumstances. The client agrees to be responsible for any family member or friend who posts our pictures online and agrees that they cannot be cropped (except the forced cropping for Facebook's Timeline), altered in colour, or edited in any way. In such event, the client shall request that a copyright and credit notice for the Studio be placed adjacent to the photograph on publication but shall have no liability if the publication refuses or omits to do so.



Failure to Perform:

In the event of a sudden breakdown of any photo equipment and when the processing of photo materials is damaged or lost, the STUDIO will process a refund, which can be distributed proportionally in case of partial failure.



Archive:

The Studio keeps archives of your photos only made by Yuliya Sytnyk, Photographer. The cost of placing your files in the archive is indicated here:

One year $35

Five years $75

Ten years $85



Photographer's practices:

It is understood that no other photographer, amateur or professional, shall be allowed to photograph at the venue while Studio Photographer is working and that any breach of this agreement will constitute a reason for non-completion of the job with no liability to the Studio and loss of initial payment by the client. In case of capturing backstage, you must ask permission from the Studio.

The client accepts that all photographs will be taken and edited at the photographer's discretion based on the photographer's experience and artistic view. If the client has special requests, they shall create a "shot list" of all required shots.

All deliverable images as per contract will have standard image editing. Any extra edits requested by the client are subject to an additional charge. These extra image adjustments include changing the size of the body or parts of the body, replace parts of the body from another image, change the colour of parts of the body, extra skin retouch, replace or swap the background. It is also understood that Studio is not responsible for fixing hair or skin or makeup problems unless hair and makeup are included in the contract.
